Perhaps the only thing more challenging than dealing with a tidal wave of new regulations to comply with is the uncertainty of what might happen next. While the pace of new rules coming out of regulatory agencies has slowed considerably under the current administration, big questions surrounding appointments at NCUA and CFPB, as well as the ongoing legal challenge to the field of membership rule has created a whole different compliance headache for credit unions.
