Stanford FCU, Palo Alto, Calif., teamed up with Bay Area food trucks to help feed firefighters, volunteer aid workers and residents displaced by the devastating Valley Fire.
DFCU Financial, Dearborn, Mich., donated $100,000 to Game On Cancer, a joint initiative between the Detroit Lions and the Josephine Ford Cancer Institute. The donation will help patients in need cover nonmedical-related expenses and fund research at JFCI.

City & County CU, St. Paul, Minn., held a Back to School Supply Drive for Merrick Community Services. For two weeks, members and staff joined together and collected 1,573 back to school items, including 147 notebooks, 522 pencils and 116 glue sticks.
CorePlus FCU, Norwich, Conn., held its sixth "Unsung Heroes Recognition" event on WINY 1350AM Radio's Morning Show. Some 122 callers named their unsung heroes, and the CU donated $3,050 to dozens of local non-profit and charitable organizations.
Ent FCU, Colorado Springs, Colo., was named the Healthiest Large Company by the Colorado Springs Business Journal. Separately, the CU extended its partnership with SavvyMoney to provide additional financial education resources for its members and the community.

First Capital FCU, York, Pa., took part in Pre-School Pals Day at the York Fair. First Capital saw many wide-eyed youngsters and gave out coin purses for them to stash their cash. One week later, the CU took part in Central Penn Parent's Family Festival York.

Georgia United CU, Duluth, Ga., delivered a $2,500 art room grant and an assortment of art supplies to Brockett Elementary School as part of the CU's School Crashers program.
FAA CU, Oklahoma City, Okla., held a groundbreaking ceremony for its newest location in Edmond, Okla.

In Dover, Del., the Del-One FCU Foundation hosted its 4th Annual Charity Golf Tournament, raising more than $9,000 to further the Foundation's philanthropic objectives throughout the state of Delaware.
