PORTLAND, Ore. – Police are looking for a man they say grabbed two boxes of cash from an armored car employee who was replenishing OnPoint CU ATMs and quickly disappeared early Friday morning.

A Loomis Security armored car employee told police she was walking from the armored car to an ATM around 6:30 am when a man "came out of nowhere," grabbed two cases containing money she was carrying and then ran off.

The worker was armed and the suspect was not armed.

Police did not specify how much money was taken and said the cases were black and about the size of shoeboxes. The Loomis Security worker was not hurt.

Loomis Armored U.S., LLC is offering a reward of $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect or suspects.
