WASHINGTON – Treasury’s Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFI) Fund has issued a notice of funds availability, indicating it will be extending up to $165 million to eligible financial institutions in 2013.

Those funds break down to $130-million in CDFI program awards, $23-million for Healthy Food Financing Initiatives, and $12-million for Native-American CDFI Assistance programs. In 2012, 22 CUs received funding through the CDFI Fund, while four CUs received NACA program grants.
