Florida Credit Unions Shared Services Inc., which does business as Shared Services for Credit Unions, announced that it has paid a $736,406 patronage rebate and dividend to its participating credit unions and stockholders for 2017.
The 2017 rebate was almost 20 percent higher than the payment from the previous year.
SS4CU is a credit union-owned CUSO providing the state of Florida with shared branching network services.
“Our cooperative nature and our member’s best interest in providing accessibility and convenience, is what has made shared branching so successful,” said Allan Prindle, chairman of the board, in a statement.
At present, the Florida network has 333 shared service facilities, giving members access to over 5,500 shared branch locations nationally represented by over 1,800 credit unions that participate in shared services.
