FLINT, Mich. – Security CU has adopted Financial Management Solutions Inc.’s Teller Management System to help it identify peak periods of staff needs at its nine branches.

“When we started to receive feedback from some members indicating they were waiting in line a little too long, we decided to take a closer look at our staffing approach,” said John Sayer, chief operating officer at the $365-million credit union. “With the help of FMSI’s Teller Management System, we identified several periods to adjust our staffing levels to be more in-line with account holder transaction activity.”

Through the collection and then preparation of teller transaction data from an institution’s core system, FMSI said Teller Management empowers management teams with easy-to-read and actionable business intelligence.
