DENVER – Partner Colorado CU has been chosen to receive free consultations from some of the Denver area’s biggest and most successful brands, including the Denver Broncos, Chipotle, Comcast, Frontier Airlines, RE/MAX, and Vail Resorts, on how to get the most out of its social media marketing as part of the SMB Social Media Makeover Forum.

Representatives from the credit union and its co-winner, independent film distributor House Lights Media, on Thursday will appear before a live audience of small businesses and marketing, PR and sales professionals seeking to increase the impact of their social media efforts at the University of Denver’s Daniels College of Business.

In addition, two special “Makeover Counter” workshops will offer deeper dives on lead generation and Web strategies to take social engagement to the next level, organizers said.

The event is being produced by LISTEN Interactive, a social media engagement consultancy focused on small and mid-sized businesses and the enterprise companies who work with them.

The company said its SMB Social Media Makeover Forum will help the audience realize they are not alone in trying to determine the best ways to:

•  Ensure organizations are prepared for social engagement

The SMB Social Media Makeover Forum previously was held in Atlanta and Charlotte. The company said it is an opportunity for small business owners and marketing professionals to engage in an open conversation and share social media best practices.
