ALEXANDRIA, Va. – A former employee of Pacific Advantage FCU who stole $450,000 from the Burlingame, Calif., credit union was among five credit union workers banned from the credit union industry by NCUA yesterday.

Norielyn Bautista was sentenced to four years in prison for embezzling from 15 members’ accounts and used the money for personal financial needs including school.

NCUA banned Stacy Mergelkamp, a former employee at Catholic and Community CU, for stealing $38,000 from the Shiloh, Ill., credit union.

Also banned was Wanda Hasbrouck, a former worker at Morton R. Lane University FCU, for embezzling $23,350 from the Buffalo, N.Y., credit union.

NCUA banned Ashley Jackson, a former employee at Primeway FCU in Houston and Mark Keilig, former manager of United Northwest FCU in Norton, Kan.
