MISSOULA, Mont. – Missoula FCU has teamed with CO-OP Financial Services to introduce Diebold’s version of the video teller, an ATM that allows members to communicate directly with a call center rep any time of the day or night.

The face-to-face video interactions being piloted at Missoula Fed is the result of a research and development partnership between CO-OP Financial and Diebold, announced last year. CO-OP Financial is providing terminal driving capability and network access and Diebold is providing member identification and video services to support video capabilities.

The solution can be implemented directly into any Diebold Opteva ATM, which enabled the credit union to pilot the service without making extensive hardware upgrades.

Diebold’s Concierge Video, similar in concept to the uGenius video teller, enables the $365 million credit union to visually connect with members to answer questions, fulfill marketing opportunities and process any call center-capable transactions from the ATM.

Concierge Video Services also allow the credit union to engage in one-to-one marketing using Diebold's Agilis Campaign Office self-service marketing solution. For example, the software can remind an ATM user that a certificate of deposit will mature soon and give the consumer the option to connect to a representative via video to handle the renewal and pursue other sales opportunities.
