FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. – Community Choice CU said it selected Simons Michelson Zieve as its advertising and marketing agency of record.

The Troy, Mich., ad agency, which has done work for the Michigan Lottery, Detroit Tigers, Taubman Centers, Detroit Red Wings, Credit Union Link, SVS Vision and Michigan Dental Association, will help the $470-million credit union launch new website and a new relationship benefits program. The new relationship benefits program will award an annual cash dividend to members who bank with the credit union.

“SMZ will play an important role in communicating to the public the benefits of banking with and becoming a member-owner of Community Choice,” said Robert Bava, president of the credit union.

The Community Choice signing comes on the heels of SMZ’s deal with the Michigan CU League as its agency of record.
