MEMPHIS -- Police are looking for the two armed men who they say tried to rob a woman at an Orion FCU ATM Tuesday night, and then shot her as she tried to get away, forcing her into a fatal crash with a utility pole.

Police say the same men then carjacked a man and shot him twice, leaving him critically injured.

When Memphis police responded to a shooting, they saw a vehicle had crashed into a utility pole. Investigators say 44-year-old Runeccia Luster had just left the credit union ATM, trying to get away from two men who tried to rob her. As she drove away, they shot her.

An ambulance took Luster to the local hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Police say the same two men then tried to steal a car from a man about 200 feet down the road from where the attempted robbery happened. The victim was shot twice as he drove away. He was taken to hospital where he remains in critical condition.

The credit union is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the identification and arrest of the suspects.
