BOISE, Idaho – A Las Vegas man was indicted by a federal grand jury yesterday on charges of stealing three ATMs holding more than $56,000 from local college campuses, including two owned by Idaho State University FCU.

Investigators say Edward Lancaster, 57, stole two ATMs holding $9,000 in cash last October 12 from Idaho State University in Pocatello that were owned by the credit union. Lancaster was also charged with stealing an ATM holding $39,760 last July 22 from the College of Southern Idaho in Twin Falls that was owned by First Federal Bank.

Lancaster was charged with felony counts of bank larceny and faces up to 10 years in prison if convicted.
