MADISON, Miss. – A man who robbed a local bank here last week is believed to be the same suspect who has hit as many as seven credit unions and banks in Texas and Arkansas.

The suspect, dubbed the “Loan Ranger Bandit,” because he usually strikes places that specialize in loans like credit unions, is believed to be responsible for robberies at FedStar CU in College Station, Texas, Santa Fe Community CU in Temple, Texas, Altra FCU in Tyler, Texas, and several banks.

Police have a clear picture of his features from video cameras because the bandit never wears a mask or disguise.
