Symitar Adds 28 New Clients

SAN DIEGO-Symitar is reporting it won 28 new credit unions for its fiscal year 2012, which ended June 30. Of those, 24 chose the company's Episys core platform (and 14 of those are implementing in an outsourced environment). Four CUs chose its Cruise platform (three of those being outsourced). Overall, Symitar reported it is the primary technology partner for more than 35% of the credit unions with more than $1 billion in assets.

Collateral Value System Upgraded

DNA Platform Wins Accolades

GLASTONBURY, Conn.-Open Solutions' DNA core processing platform has won the Technology, User Experience, and Alliance Core Banking Awards from Aite Group. DNA won the most awards of any core platform mentioned in the report, which analyzes the state of the U.S. core vendor market and compares the leading platforms of 21 vendors targeting U.S. banks and credit unions. Among the strengths cited was DNA's single code line, the company's DNApp Store, and other features.

Risk of ACH Fraud Is Examined

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.-Guardian Analytics, a provider of behavior-based fraud prevention solutions, has released FraudMAP ACH, which it said automatically analyzes ACH batches and transactions and prioritizes the highest risk payments for review.

CHANTILLY, Va.-Online Resources Corp. has partnered with Truaxis, a platform provider that leverages transaction data to help financial institutions deliver personalized rewards, loyalty incentives and other services to their customers. Truaxis will provide ORCC's clients and their more than 3.5-million end-users with a loyalty rewards platform, Statement-Rewards. CUs will be able to make via personalized offers to members for their favorite local and national merchants while accessing their digital banking, the companies said.
