INDIANAPOLIS – Indiana Members CU will be distributing school uniforms to the students at IPS School #44, Riverside Elementary on Aug. 3.

Indiana Members Foundation raised more than $19,000 at its fundraising event, “Vegas Baby, Rat Pack Style,” which took place in February at Bankers Life Fieldhouse, to purchase these uniforms.

Each student that attends will receive a pair of pants, three shirts, a belt, socks, as well as a pair of shoes, which IMCU has partnered with Samaritan’s Feet to provide. IMCU employees plan to volunteer their time to disburse the uniforms to the students along with backpacks, laundry detergent and food items IMCU has collected.

In addition, Indiana Pacer George Hill will be on hand from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. to assist in distributing the backpacks. Throughout the 2011-12 Indiana Pacer Season, IMCU has donated a backpack for every free throw George Hill has made.
