WATERVILLE, Maine – Debi Pomeroy, who began her credit union career as a teller at nearby Keyes Fiber FCU (now KSW FCU) and worked her way up to be CEO of HealthFirst FCU, retired as head of the $17-million credit union after 30 years in the credit union movement.

Pomeroy, who worked at HealthFirst for more than 20 years, was succeeded by Lynda Quirion, who was hired by Pomeroy in 2001.

During her 23 years at the credit union Pomeroy built it from $3 million in assets.
