TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – When U.S. Senator Bill Nelson (D) and his challenger for his Senate seat, Rep. Connie Mack IV (R) debate later tonight on a broadcast airing in Florida, TV viewers will learn about the CU difference.
The League of Southeastern Credit Unions is one of four sponsors of a Florida Senate race debate that is expected to receive strong TV viewership in the Sunshine State. Credit unions will have a major presence in the debate hall and on the broadcast, explained LSCU President/CEO Patrick La Pine. “This is a unique opportunity for credit unions and one that we’ve typically not seen before. The debate will air in every television market in the state. Through our Cooperative Image Campaign, we already have a logo and website that promote all of our credit unions. We think this is a great way to showcase our credit unions.”
Credit unions in Florida will be mentioned at the front of the broadcast and again at the end, a 30-second ad will run during the broadcast, and a 4’ x 8’ credit union banner will hang in the debate hall. The credit union logo is on the debate website and prominently displayed in newspaper ads promoting the event.
