MESA, Ariz. – The FBI is seeking help from the public in identifying a woman here who has been dubbed the “Color Me Bad Bandit.”

The woman is a suspect in the robbery of four East Valley credit unions and has earned the nickname for consistently attempting to hide her identity by wearing large scarves or hats and sunglasses. The FBI description of the suspect said the woman has dark features and full lips, is in her late 20s to early 30s, is 5’4” to 5’5” tall and weighs 140 pounds.

The Color Me Bad Bandit, the FBI said, enters the credit unions with a large bag and uses a note to demand money and threatens employees. She then flees on foot from the credit unions, which to date have included two branches of Arizona FCU, Mountain America and Sun West.
