KINGSTON, N.Y. – Mid-Hudson Valley FCU, the former IBM employees’ credit union, announced this morning that Wayne Winkler, its chief lending officer, was named president and CEO of the $750 million credit union.

Winkler has been serving as interim CEO since the April retirement of the credit union’s long-time chief William Spearman.

Winkler joined the credit union in 1990 as vice president and chief financial officer and was named chief lending officer in 2006.

The credit union was chartered in 1963 as IBM Kingston Employees FCU and became a community charter serving Ulster, Dutchess and Orange counties in 2002.
