ONTARIO, Calif. — The California and Nevada Credit Union Leagues said their member credit unions can modernize their training thanks to a new online educational program known as All Star Training.

The leagues have a new educational partnership with Mitchell, Stankovic and Associates, a Las Vegas-based credit union consultancy that produced the content.

Brandi Stankovic has starred in a number of training webinars offered by the two leagues. In creating the All Star Training content, Stankovic said she took the large number of in-person training sessions she has produced over the years, refreshed and rewrote the content, and then made it fit the interactive nature of Web/multimedia.

All Star Training consists of six parts, starting with a 20-minute introduction that includes an explanation of the credit union difference. Other sections include member service, teller skills, robbery and security and a two-chapter look at sales. Segments range from 43 minutes to 70 minutes.

Mark Klinkert, VP of education and training for the two Leagues noted All Star Training currently is live on the League website and was formally introduced to credit unions during the leagues' recent annual meeting in Los Angeles.

"This comprehensive educational program covers topics from credit union history to sales and service," Klinkert said in a prepared statement. "Credit unions can now teach all staff in a relevant, efficient manner as the result of a collaboration between the CCUL/NCUL and Mitchell, Stankovic and Associates, a global educational and strategic consulting firm."

The CCUL and NCUL said their member CUs indicated they wanted to improve and modernize the training process. The Leagues said they contracted with Mitchell, Stankovic and Associates because MSA has an "intimate understanding of credit unions' strategic goals, best practices and operational needs thanks to years of working inside CUs and being on the forefront of multi-media, online education."

The firm said it has expertise in education, authoring, and knowledge management, as well as in relationship selling and joint marketing.

"At MSA, we are consultants who work in credit unions and see their needs," offered Sue Mitchell, CEO. "We have extensive backgrounds in sales and education."

The training is offered through eTrain Anytime, a league entity.
