SUNRISE, Fla. -- Authorities are searching for two male armed robbery suspects after a shoot-out in a parking lot during a Brink's truck delivery to a Space Coast CU here this morning.

When one of the guards, carrying a bag of money, left the truck to enter the credit union, he was jumped by the two armed men. The guard was force to the ground and the money bags were ripped from his grasp.

The suspects forced the guard to the ground and run off with the money, but the guard, still laying on the ground, pulled out a handgun and opened fire on the suspects.

The two suspects left a getaway car in a nearby parking lot and may have fled in a second, unknown vehicle after the incident that happened around 10 a.m. The getaway car was found with several bullet holes in it.

None of the credit union employees or the Brink’s employees were injured, authoriries said.
