QUINCY, Mass. -- Bridgewater CU’s Community Team surprised more than 550 passengers Friday on Boston’s commuter train, known here as the “T,” with a free ride.

Passengers at the Quincy Adams Station were treated to a Free Ride Hour, where credit union handed out free passes during the 8 am and 9 am rush hour.

“Our goal is two-fold,” says Mark Campanale, vice president of marketing at the credit union. “We want to let the Quincy community know about our new location at 213 Independence Ave, and we also want to give back to the community that has been so generous to us for the past 15 years.”

The credit union staff also let T passengers know how they can get a $50 pass, known as a CharlieCard, for becoming a member.
