HOUSTON — ATM networks Allpoint and STAR have renewed their relationships, allowing member institutions and cardholders continued surcharge-free access to the Allpoint network throughout the United States.
The STAR-Allpoint relationship was established in 2007, expanding the network of surcharge-free ATMs to more than 32,000 locations nationwide for STARsf cardholders.
"Linking STARsf to Allpoint surcharge-free ATMs has always been about putting STAR financial institutions in a better competitive position," Pete Korpady, STAR Network general manager, said in a statement. "Surcharge-free ATM access continues to be a key decision point for consumers when choosing a bank or credit union. Through ongoing expansion of its network, which is focused on convenient retail locations where consumers already live, work and shop, Allpoint has demonstrated its commitment to adding value to the STARsf program, its member financial institutions and ultimately their cardholders."
