DALEVILLE, Ala. – Army Aviation Center FCU is one of the first clients of Banno, formerly known as T8 Webware, to go live with the company’s a responsive design format, enabling the site to adjust for online, mobile and tablet users.
Banno said the responsive design offers a single URL that automatically responds to any type of device or browser and its screen size to better prepare financial institutions for mobile-focused services and multichannel banking. By combining these channels, the company said, clients also ease the burden of compliance, archiving and maintaining site updates in merging their workflows, and strengthen SEO and analytic data from having a unified e-channel.
In its first month, the $1.1-billion credit union had more than 250,000 visits to its site, and nearly 10% of them were from mobile devices. Apple iPad was the most frequently used device, with 7,739 visits, followed by the iPhone with 4,723 visits. Mobile visitors spent an average of two minutes browsing, where they had access to the full website and its full range of capabilities.
