Des Moines, Iowa-based Affinity Credit Union has signed a contract with credit union service organization CU*Answers to convert its core data processing system to CU*BASE, the CUSO’s flagship processing system.

The $99.5 million CU will convert in March 2018.

Affinity chose CU*Answers because of “a combination of many factors, like their member-facing technology, the fact that we could own the technology along with our peers and their cooperative business model,” Andy Fogle, Affinity’s CEO, said in a press release.

“Our team worked closely with Andy and his senior team during their due diligence efforts over the past several months, and their recent decision to come on board early next year was great news for our cooperative,” Scott Collins, the CUSO’s EVP of national sales and marketplace relationships, said in the release.
