Dennis Klaeser is Chief Financial Officer and Executive Managing Director of the Talmer Bancorp. Talmer Bank and Trust is a private equity backed banking institution that is focused on acquiring failed banks in the Midwest. Over the past year, the company has acquired four failed institutions and has grown from less than $100 million to $2.4 billion in total assets. As CFO, Mr. Klaeser plays a key role in executing the companys strategic initiatives including mergers and acquisitions and capital raising initiatives. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Klaeser was CFO of PrivateBancorp, Inc from 2003 through 2009 where was responsible for financial and accounting functions as well as strategic planning, capital markets, SEC and board reporting, SOX, regulatory and investor relations. In addition to his experience as CFO, Mr. Klaeser spent over 12 years as an investment banker and equity research analyst focused on Midwest community banks. Mr. Klaeser earned an MBA from Northwestern University and a BA from Lawrence University.
