The Credit Union Journal has a very special announcement. Thanks to the support of the CO-OP Network, as part of our Business Development & SEG Conference April 12-13 in Boston, the Journal has arranged for a tour and dinner at America's Credit Union Museum in Manchester, N.H.
On the evening of April 11, we will travel to the museum to tour its first-rate displays and history that include many of the original furnishings and documents from America's first credit union, St. Mary's Bank. In fact, the museum is located inside the building that also served as the CU's headquarters when it was founded in 1908.
A representative from St. Mary's will be on hand to share with those in attendance a little of the history of the credit union and what was involved in making the museum a reality, before everyone comes together for an enjoyable dinner. Attendees will then be bussed back to Boston to rest up for what promises to be an excellent conference on membership growth.
Travel, entrance to the museum and dinner are all included for just $49 in addition to the already low conference registration fee. For more info, visit www.sourcemediaconferences.com/CUBP07.
