FAA CU, Oklahoma City, helped fulfill the Christmas lists of homeless teens participating in the Youth Services for Oklahoma County's Supporting Kids In Independent Living program.

First Commonwealth FCU, Lehigh Valley, Penn., hosted a holiday food drive to benefit Second Harvest of the Lehigh Valley and the Greater Berks Food Bank.

University of Michigan CU and Credit Union of Ohio announced the results of their third annual money war competition that plugs into the well-known, long-standing rivalry between the University of Michigan and Ohio State University. This year, University of Michigan won the contest that resulted in donations of $2,800 to C.S. Mott Children's Hospital in Michigan and $1,600 to Nationwide Children's in Ohio.

Gulf Winds FCU, Pensacola, Fla., has opened a new branch in downtown Pensacola.

America's Christian CU, Glendora, Calif., held its 7th Annual Snow Day, which included visits with Santa, a petting zoo and snow.

Autoland Inc., Chatsworth, Calif., awarded its third quarter charitable grant of $2,000 to the Center for Comprehensive Care and Diagnosis of Inherited Blood Disorders.

Helena Community CU and Trico Community FCU, Helena, Mont., teamed up with CTA Arthitecs Engineers to donate $13,000 to Montana Credit Unions for Community Development.

Connex CU, Wallingford, Conn., donated $737.95 to the Kacey Rose Foundation. In other news, the CU also donated $802.60 to the Hamden/North Haven YMCA.

Numerica CU, Spokane Valley, Wash., sent CEO Carla Altepeter on a road trip to deliver donations of $5,000 each to five area non-profits: Our Place Community Ministries, Safety Net, Christ Clinic, Christ Kitchen and Blessings Under The Bridge.

Calcite CU, Rogers City, Mich., held a "be a great pumpkin" fundraiser and raised $360 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

IC FCU, Fitchburg, Mass., donated $7,500 to the United Way.

OSU FCU, Corvallis, Ore., raised $25,000 for Children's Miracle Network.

Robins FCU, Warner Robins, Ga., donated Christmas gifts for elderly and disabled residents as part of the Meals on Wheels "Shoeboxes for the Elderly" program. Separately, the CU also donated $1,000 to the Salvation Army, $500 to Macon Outreach, $1,000 to Middle Georgia Food Bank, $500 to HODAC, $500 to Hephzibah Children's Home, $750 to Loaves & Fishes and put together 65 care packages for deployed troops stationed at Robins Air Force Base.

Merrimack Valley FCU, Lawrence, Mass., held its first "We Love Santa Party" at its headquarters, incuding karaoke, holiday-themed games, a candy buffet, face painting and more.

NEFCU, Westbury, N.Y., donated $20,000 to Long Island Cares Food Bank.

TEG FCU, Poughkeepsie, N.Y., donated $21,000 to the American Red Cross of the Mid-Hudson Valley to support the organizationís Superstorm Sandy relief efforts.

Southern Mass CU, Fairhaven, Mass., held its 6th Annual U.S. Armed Forces Collection Drive to aid soldiers in active duty. In other news, the CU also sponsored a Veteran's Luncheon at the Fairhaven Council on Aging.

South Bay CU, Redondo Beach, Calif., hosted a visit with Santa at one of its branches.

Pen Air FCU, Pensacola, Fla., served as a drop-off site for donations to Toys for Tots.

Westerly Community CU, Westerly, R.I., held a "Mini's Making a Difference Toy Drive."

Fort Bragg FCU, Fayetteville, N.C., sent employees to visit patients at the Fayetteville VA Medical Center.

Postal CU, Woodbury, Minn., gave $1,000 to Jyssica LeeAnn Williams as part of the CU's "$1,000 a Week Debit Card Giveaway" promotion.

St. Joseph Mercy Hospital Pontiac FCU, Pontiac, Mich., donated $1,200 to Safe Harbor Community Services.

Truliant FCU, Winston-Salem, N.C., served as a host site for the American Cancer Society's third Cancer Prevention Study. Seperately, the CU announced that Patricia Shue won its "Mortgage for a Year" contest.

American 1 CU, Jackson, Mich., donated $300 to Toys for Tots, raised $180 for Salvation Army's Adopt-A-Family program, raised $300 for Consumer's Energy's Gift Certficates program, donated $100 to Meals on Wheels, donated $70 worth of non-perishable food items to the Grass Lake Food Pantry, raised $350 for AWARE, made baked goods for the Brooklyn Police and Fire Station, adopted two units of soldiers for Christmas, adopted two National Guard families and adopted 15 homeless teens at Do'Chas II for the holiday season, as well.

The Metro Boston Chapter of the Massachusetts CU League donated hundreds of toys to Toys for Tots.

Dade County FCU, Miami, Fla., was recognized for its financial literacy efforts by the Miami Dade County Public County Public School Board.

CU Hawaii FCU, Hilo, Hawaii, raised $2,051.48 for Special Olympics-East Hawaii.

CitizensFirst CU, Oshkosh, Wis., held a special event featuring Santa Claus that helped raise $272 for Children's Hospital of Wisconsin.

Texas Trust CU, Mansfield, Texas, donated $5,000 to the Athens Kiwanis Club. In other news, the CU also opened its 10th branch and donated $5,000 and toys to Toys for Tots.

Security Service FCU, San Antonio, donated $10,000 to the American Red Cross's Hurricane Sandy relief efforts. In other news, the CU also broke ground on a new service center, donated $5,000 to the Palmer Drug Abuse Program, participated in a food drive that brought in more than 1 million pounds of food for area food banks, donated $20,000 to Children's Hospital of San Antonio, donated $16,000 to the Newspapers In Education program and donated $5,000 to the National MS Society Scholarship program.

1st Advantage FCU, Yorktown, Va., helds its 5th Annual 1st A.I.D.E. Day during which staff made 90 "surgery bears" for Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters patients, 551 personal care kits for Menchville House residents, organized 1,500 patient files for the Lackey Free Clinic, collected 3,000 pounds of food for the Foodbank of the Virginia Peninsula and raised $1,602 for Operation Homefront of the Virginias.
