TopLine FCU, St. Paul, Minn., was recognized for helping to get a $294,000 grant for Brooklyn Park from the Affordable Housing Program of the Federal Home Loan Bank in Des Moines, Iowa.

Baton Rouge, La.-based Campus FCU, Pelican State CU and Neighbors FCU raised more than $24,700 for Our Lady of the Lake Children's Hospital at the 9th Annual Credit Union Charity Golf Tournament.

Keys FCU, Key West, Fla., gave away $500 in Publix gift cards to Patsy Veldez Gerez, the grand prize winner of the CU's 2012 Membership is REWARDING program.

Westerly Community CU, Westerly, R.I., said Leonora Cacabelos was the $5,000 grand prize winner of the CU's Savings Challenge. In other news, the CU said that over the course of 2012, it donated a total of $6,735.30 to local charitable organizations. The money was raised through dress down days for employees.

First Financial FCU, Wall, N.J., donated $1,000 to Nicole Sharp to help with holiday bills as part of its joint Helping Families First program with 94.3 The Point.

Diamond CU, Pottstown, Penn., announced that 100% of its employees participated in the annual United Way Campaign.

Financial One CU, Columbia Heights, Minn., presented a $2,000 grant to 'nMotion Dance Studio to fund a free dance program for students unable to pay for a year-long dance class taught by accredited professionals.

US Federal Credit Union, Burnsville, Minn., announced the winner of the $1,500 grand prize entertainment package that included a 50" LCD TV, was Matt Rognstad. Separately, the CU hosted its semi-annual blood drive, at which 10 units of whole blood and two units of double red blood cells were collected.

First Capital FCU, York Penn., participated in the American Heart Association's "Go Red Day." Separately, the credit union held a "Couponing 101" seminar

St. Anne's Credit Union, River Falls, Mass., participated in the American Heart Association's "Go Red Day." In other news, the CU also participated in the Credit for Life Fair at New Bedford Voc Tech High School and also raised $600 for St. Anne's Food Pantry.

Del-One FCU, Dover, Delaware, recognized Right Way Flagging and Sign Company as the CU's SEG of the month.

Land of Lincoln CU raised $7,600 for the Good Samaritan Inn.

Numerica CU, Spokane Valley, Wash., donated $13,600 to five community organizations, including: Greater Spokane County Meals on Wheels, Lake City Senior Center's Meals on Wheels, Inland NW Baby, Teen Challenge Pacific Northwest in the Tri-Cities and Haven of Hope.

St. Tammany FCU, Slidell, La., awarded a $2,000 grant to Magnolia Trace Elementary School for its "Touch Math" program.

NEFCU, Westbury, N.Y., divided a $5,000 donation among Angela's House, Girl Scouts of Nassau County and the Seatuck Environmental Association as part of the CU's "A Season of Giving Charity" contest. Separately, the CU sponsored the Newsday FutureCorps program, and awarded $13,000 in grants to 55 Long Island-area teachers.

Hanscom FCU, Hanscom AFB, Mass., sponsored Operation Best Wishes, which allows family of military members to record video greetings for the loved ones deployed overseas. In other news, the CU awarded the 2012 Board of Directors Memorial Award to the Massachusetts National Guard Family Program Volunteer Advisory Council, and the CU was chosen Air Force CU of the Year.

Workers' CU, Fitchburg, Mass., pledged to donate more than $46,500 to the United Way of North Central Massachusetts.

Pacific Crest FCU, Klamath Falls, Ore., donated $2,000 to the Klamath & Lake Counties Food Bank.

United Financial CU, Saginaw, Mich., raised $4,208.04 for the 1st Annual CASA Christmas event.

The Golden 1 CU, Sacramento, Calif., teamed up with K-JUG Radio's "DJs for PJs" program that collected more than 500 pairs of pajamas for Central Coast Funds for Children.

Kern Schools FCU, Bakersfield, Calif., teamed up with Norris School District to gather all the clothing from the schools' lost and found and bins to be donated to lowincome children.

P&G Mehoopany Employees FCU raised $4,000 via its Baskets for Charity raffle. Proceeds were donated to the Tunkhannock Public Library, the Wyoming County Cultural Center the Victims Resource Center, Seven Loaves Soup Kitchen, Interfaith Friends, Tunkhannock Area Transition Program for Special Education Room 1, Susquehanna & Wyoming Counties American Red Cross, Greater Carbondale YMCA, Ronald McDonald House of Scranton and Blue Chip Farms Animal Refuge.

OMNI Community CU, Battle Creek, Mich., made a $4,000 grant to First Tee of Battle Creek. Separately, the CU made a $2,700 grant to Goodwill Industries of Central Michigan's Heartland.

SAFE CU, Sacramento, Calif., said SAFE Community Banking Manager Rachel Zillner helped raise more than $200,000 to build an outdoor classroom at Soil Born Farms, which teaches children in urban areas how sustainable farming works.

Arkansas FCU, Jacksonville, Ark., donated $80,560 to Arkansas Children's Hospital Foundation.
